Association for Development of Children and Youth - OPEN CLUB has been founded in 1996 as a non-political and non- governmental association from Nis, whose mission is the creation of equal opportunities for the development of children and youth, by affirmation of democratic values and empowerment of the young for active and responsible participation in a community. There are different areas of its work within which a number of projects and programmes for children and youth are being implemented:


PROJECTS

Projects of education and development of social skills: Debating human rights, Better understanding the differences, Right to human rights, Volunteers’ Center, Right to children's rights, Civil dialogue, Living Together, Center for Youth, School for Parents, Project for children of Yugoslavia - Open Club
Projects for advocacy and empowerment of marginalized groups: Advocacy for the adoption of LPA for children in the municipalities of SE Serbia, Connected in game and creativity, To be visible, to be better, Educational and recreational program for refugees and IDPs and Roma children in Serbia, the Unit for project monitoring and support, Open doors
Projects for the support of civil society development: Focal point for civil society organizations - KOCD for children, Development of the third sector - a step in the future, Strengthening of non-governmental sector in the South-Eastern Serbia, Open TV
Projects of international cooperation: Youth caravan (Bulgaria), Europe without borders (Slovenia, Bulgaria), Graffiti tolerance - all for one, one for all (Poland, Austria, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Human Rights in the Balkans - the right to life, freedom, security (Macedonia and Bulgaria), Youth bridges (Bulgaria)

PROGRAMS

Youth Network program whose goal is to encourage young people and strengthen youth activism
Voluntary program whose goal is the promotion and development of voluntarism
